My mother received this lovely ceramic heart and stand for Christmas. I think this gift is precious. When I was a child, my mother always said that "Christmas is love," so this gift has special meaning to me.
P.S. I do not know who gave my mother this wonderful gift. I wish I did, so I could thank that person for giving my mother this gift. When I asked my mother about this gift, she gave me a confused look. My mother has Alzheimer's. She rarely talks. She has little memory of the current times. The person who left this gift did not leave a note with the gift. My mother has started throwing away notes, cards and letters. This is why I have told people to tell me when they visit my mother. People who are not familiar with dementia do not realize the reason why I requested this. I do hope the gift giver knows that this gift is appreciated.
We put a visitor's book in our Mother's room when she was in there. And a notice saying, please sign the book! This little heart was meant to last so it will be appreciated by all who see it!
How sweet! Maybe there is a place where you can post the picture and the things that you wrote above so that the gift giver will see it and know to get in touch with you.
@daisymiller That seems to be the problem with my SIL who has had a stroke and can't talk. We would like to know who visits. Bought the visitors book but I think the staff put it somewhere else!
Some secrets has the remain secrets . ( A saying of my dear Mum : Do always good and don`t look back) A beautiful Christmas gift and treasure of a nice person.
@olivetreeann Thank you. I like your idea. I think this may have come from our church. I can take a picture of this tomorrow and show it to someone at church service tomorrow.
