Winter LIght by daisymiller

Winter LIght

Lately, there has not been much outdoor natural light due to thick cloud layers. When I saw this scene, I realized that it does not take much natural light to create reflections. The tree branches were reflected on my son't car windows. The snow banks were reflected on the car's body. The porch railing of the house across the street can be seen behind my son's car and through the car's window. The next time I start to complain about not having enough natural light, I will try to remember this photo and look for what the available natural light is doing.
Black and white was a great choice for this one - love the contrast!

Those reflections are very stylistic...maybe even a bit sinister--I think I see a face.... Nicely done!

Wow - all that snow - on top of the car too! It must have been cold taking these great photos of lines and reflections!
