I selected Casper, my dog, as my subject. I decided to study his "hair" (fur). I find his hair interesting. Here is my study in counter clockwise direction: His hair on his face is a bit wild. I have to comb it to keep it out of his eyes. The hair on his back is rough and relatively straight. The hair on the back of his head is wavy. The hair on his ears (only one is shown in the photo) is very soft and smooth. The hair on his tail is slightly wavy and is not as rough as the hair on his back. I was going to photograph the smooth, very soft hair on Casper's tummy, but he decided that he was through being my photo model for the day.
