I was surprised to see the leaves appearing on the bushes and shrubs. Spring has definitely sprung! The leaves in this photo are the leaves on one of the rose bushes in my yard. All month, I have been doing photographic exercises from the book, Extraordinary Everyday Photography. In chapter five, I decided to look more at the text in the book than at the photographic exercises for the chapter. Chapter five is about capturing everyday moments. The authors say that life is full of moments every minute. We need to take a good look at what is going on around us. That is what I did. I took a walk around my yard and discovered the rose leaves. The authors emphasized street photograph in this chapter, but they said that some photographers like to photograph nature. They listed nature moments, such as, sunlight breaking through the clouds and a rainbow arching over the highway. I decided to go with a nature moment, because that is my type of photography. This shot is SOCC. My son is beginning to upgrade my computer. I have limited access to a computer and even more limited access to any editing software.
