It is back to the daffodil subjects. I am experimenting with how to create more of a three dimensional look when photographing. Supposedly, point of view can help create that depth perception in an image. The authors of Extraordinary Everyday Photography say that getting above something, creates more space between it and the objects below. The authors even said that standing on a step stool helps. I don't think they were talking about macro photography. I thought the photo on the right, in which I am shooting "head" on, created more depth than the photo on the left, which was shot from above. I added a bit of vignette processing in both photos to help create more space between the blossom and the leaves. I will experiment some more with this and see if I get the same results. My experiment came from chapter six: Finding Your Point of View. In this chapter, the authors say that point of view helps make more effective, expressive photographs.
P.S. My comptuer is up and going, after my son upgraded it. It is going to take me a while to get used to the upgrade. Today, I hope to get my photos for today and yesterday uploaded. Tomorrow, I hope to get back to commenting. Please bare with me as I go through this transition process.
