The day was gray and the daylight was dim. I wondered what I was going to do for my daily 365 photo. I decided to do some preliminary shots of rocks, which is one of the photo club's monthly photo themes. I thought that a nice rock image might do for my 3665 project too. I quickly set up a light box by placing a science fair folder on top of a piece of white matboard. I placed a mirror at an angle to catch the light from a lamp. Before I put each rock in the light box, I decided to try out "the light box" by taking some pictures of some wilted spring flowers in vases. Some of the results really thrilled me. Here is one of the nice surprises from my experimentation.
