In winter, the sky washes out to a pale blue color. In spring, the sky becomes a richer blue. P.S. This shot was taken when the wind was strong. If I had used my newer camera with a faster shutter speed, I could have gotten the oak tree leaves in the foreground more in focus. I like this photo anyway, because I love the blue of the sky.
