February 8: Ice Storm by daisymiller

February 8: Ice Storm

The ice storm brought us approximately 1/2 inch of ice with a layer of snow on top of the ice. I took this shot before the snow covered the ice. I feel fortunate that we kept our electric power and that no tree limbs fell on our vehicles or house. The worse thing that happened was that my husband fell on the ice. He is sore, but okay. This shot is for the Flash of Red (BW) challenge. The focus for Feb. 4-10 is texture and patterns, with the emphasis on patterns within the textures. I had better photos of the patterns within the textures, but I liked this X shape of the branches.
Nice focus and details
