George Eastman Museum by danette

George Eastman Museum

Of Kodak fame. He built this 35,000 square foot house for his mother to live in for her final years. He was never married. He bequeathed the home to the Univ. of Rochester upon his death to be used to house the university president but it became too large to maintain. We can all thank George Eastman for his brilliance in bringing photography to the average person. BTW, "Kodak" is a made-up name!
A gorgeous home
