The Orange Shop by danette

The Orange Shop

My brother has lived in this town for over 30 years and I'm pretty sure I have never seen the Orange Shop. There used to be many of these around Florida.
Typical Florida in the modern era

Sounds appropriate for Florida! If it was in Tennessee it would have to be the Big Orange of the Vols!

Would it have been open before the pandemic? So many businesses have changed their hours of operation since COVID.

@skipt07 they are open during the winter when oranges are in season

@danette - I'm surprised that they don't offer something during the summer months. Sno cones soft serve ice cream, lemonade or something else to beat the heat.

@skipt07 It is really in a rural area. However, you have inspired me to look up their history since I knew they were there a long time. I had no idea they were the Spyke family. Spykes Groves was well known in our area for many decades. https://www.floridaorangeshop.com/Orange-Shop-Story_ep_7.html
