More progress

The Village is beginning to take shape. I wish I could devote more time to get it finished, but I think I'm happy with the progress. More obstacles...lights that don't work. Always something! Had to go by something for a road, not anticipating a very long check-out line. When I am finished with the electric, I may just take a picture of the wiring!

Here's how it looked late Friday: http://365project.org/danette/365/2012-11-23
What a cozy looking village. I have always wanted to do something like this but I really do not have the room

@bkbinthecity Thank you. It's my favorite village (Snow Village), but there are others that have smaller buildings. You can also do little vignettes that have just a building or two, plus some people. I have friends who have 300 homes and their whole house is full come Christmas. Of course, he is an engineer!

@pjonas Thank you, Patty! I have never really shown anyone the "guts" of the village. In fact, my friend (mentioned just above), swatted my hand when I went to look under his set up! It is much different when complete.

@daisy Thanks so ,uch, Kathryn!!

@lynnb Thanks, Lynn. You will see, once I push the display back to the wall, it will go around the picture on the wall. It's too bad it covers the other picture, which is similar. In other years, I didn't include this picture, which was a shame.
