Purple Christmas II

I took this photo of the service. The lighting was purple, though it sure looks blue here. I thought she looked lovely. Comments welcome, of course.

I don't know if you remember the photo I took of the Christmas lights outside of Kraynak's? Most of those lights were purple, but they didn't show up. I'm going to have to learn why dSLR's don't seem to like purple and if there is a way to make them record it.

@skipt07 Somehow I missed that shot but I looked at it. I do see some purple lights in your photo. Thanks for your observations!

Could it have to do with exposure? Nice capture Danette.

@lynnb Not sure. There is "smoke" on the stage. She was obviously flooded in light. I typically have my shutter set low (60, 80). It's on shutter priority and this lens is not fast. At that distance, it was f/7.1. ISO at 3200. I kinda like the mysteriousness of the shot but not sure how others may see it.
