Seriously, there are days when I just have nothing to photograph, which led me to the main water valve (I think) on our driveway. Beautiful day but it really just got away from me because I was stuck at a car dealership all morning (Blah), and then I graded a bunch of essays (Blah), and then I was in a conference call (Blah), and then my daughter said she was sick (sigh, blah, sigh). So, I'm lucky I took one random photo today. Blabedahblahblahblah. It was manual, though!
I think this is beautiful. Sometimes we overlook the beauty of the utilitarian. Someone designed this and they too are to be commended. Your photo shows respect and appreciation.
