Hats, hats, and more hats today at the Atlanta Steeplechase. I snuck this one on the sly while taking photos of the horses. I loved how the reddy pink just stood out against the sky. I don't think I even cropped this one--minor exposure adjustment to get the sky better--the hat is all it's own loveliness (with a hair strand or two!)
Today is my 17th wedding anniversary and I plan on posting a few more cherished photos from this day in my other album--wow is all I can say.
@taffy It was my first time and I'm from ATL! Amazingly beautiful day all around. Great photos for me too. I love when I have a bunch I like--that happened. :)
@nicoleterheide THanks Nicole. I knew it was going to be "the" shot for the day even thought I probably had much better ones--just loved how it was unique.
@steampowered It was like a moth to a flame when I saw that hat color against the sky. I was around a pole, so I darted out and shot it really fast so she wouldn't see me getting her hat. :)
