The planned maple leaf-in-bright-sun-on-fire shot did not pan out as the sun hid behind some clouds today; it's a bit windy, and my wild azalea is starting to fade--this one shoot broke with the pack and swung in the wind like an acrobatic dancer. I was able to get the bodice and skirt in focus, but it's lovely legs would not be caught--appropriate I think. This flower is true to color mostly--a radiant orange-red, a color I relish each spring.
@wind_of_the_sothern_sea Many thanks. I have been thinking about you since your post yesterday. I read an article this morning in the NY Times--so sad. Wishing you and everyone there comfort during this time. Such a tragedy. Many thanks for your lovely comments, of course.
