All I can say is wow, I had an amazing afternoon walking around East Roswell Park while my daughter was at soccer practice. This eastern bluebird posed for several shots, and I was just so pleased to get this one.
Very little processing--a crop to avoid the pattern of a chain linked fence--I liked the slope of the rail, however. The spring green backdrop is dreamy--sunset spectacular.
I wish I could post every photo from this outing--dandelions, chickadees, some kind of teeny tiny nuthatchy bird, cardinals, robins, helicopter leaves...oh, it was so much fun playing in manual.
AND, got in my bird shot for the day. So flower and bird! Yay!
@rennes Oh, they really are so lovely Lisa, and I don't see them often--I really loved the bokeh too. Right now, early spring in the Atlanta area produces almost golden green early leaves. When the sun hits them, it's so dramatic, so this bokeh came out without any need for processing. I love when that happens! Yesterday's "Fire Tree" was the same--love the greens!
@taffy Thanks so much for the fav! I was even thinking about including some of the chain link, but I thought it would ruin the fluid feel of the bokeh--gotta love spring green coming to the rescue there! :)
