My youngest turns 11 today. I love that her b'day present requests were a tent (installed in the living room at present--it replaces the huge fort she built the day after school got out) and a sprinkler. This is the maiden voyage of the sprinkler with the 11-year-old foot. AI Servo continues to be a really great camera setting for me! :) I love 365.
That is refreshing! No, not the sprinkler, but that your daughter wants some "non tech" gifts. Yay! These are the thing WE grew up doing! And I think they have merit and give "true" and everlasting joy to people. Unlike video games. Cool shot to remember the day!

My daughter and her sister had a great time with this gift (and the tent in the living room!). My photos this summer will be less formal--less planned--and more reflective of a moment in the day. With 2 kids at my side all day for an entire summer, it's bound to be odd subjects. But I love working with the camera settings either way! Oh, and the processing. :)

Fun fun fun.... the anklet is so 11-year-old foot... I still have to take some time to do a monkey-swing-like AI-servo experiment. Right now it's just a term you've used that I really don't understand.
