I've had a few bullies in my backyard and this tiny bird is the current sheriff in town. He will take on the titmice, the finches, the nuthatches, chickadees, phoebes...all except the cardinal so far. He gave me a look too as if to say, "Lady, don't even try." Ha.
That is too funny, because as I looked at this I immediately said, "Oh poor little baby birdie, he looks so lost next to that huge feeder!" LOL I should have known better, my 20 pound Pomeranian mix rules my 65 pound boxer mix! HOWEVER, when he is in the mood...the cat shows them all who is boss!!
He has the eyes of a bully -- great narrative and I laughed at your description on Katy's page of getting the present and having to buy the feeders! But you should get some great bird shots now that they are coming to you!
Love it and what a clever narrative. I bet he couldn't bully a mockingbird though! I really like the composition with the negative space and that look says it all. Must fav this one!
