And so Abstract April begins for me. I'm pretty excited. But I will tell you today was a very trying day--no need for details, but I was and am very spent. As I left the numerous dr. visits, said goodbye to my dad, and headed home, I decided I would throw on my wide-angle, set up shop underneath a big glass building I had seen earlier in the day and look up. The building appeared like a huge diving board when I imported it.
Who knows what is at the edge, but after all the tests, etc. we went through to determine results (thankfully, all is good), I thought this might work as my first abstract for the month. I love buildings, urban things, and the sky came out with the interesting gradation on its own (yes, I bumped up some saturation, but this photo is slightly cropped with only a few adjustments).
I'll take it. Ready to Launch. Who's with me?
Oh, and thanks so much for all the lovely comments on my completed Macro-March project. It really was a joy to do with all of you macro fans. I'm off to bed where I will sleep like a log. zzzzz.
My first thought was: a shot from the International Space Station and this is a solar panel with one of Earth's oceans in the background. Terrific abstract!
This is inspired! What a healthy response to an anxious and frustrating day. Photography certainly helps me feel better. New moto will to always have my camera on me. Good luck with the abstracts!
