Taken outside. Bug on my backdoor glass. I used my nifty-fifty with a very wide aperture, fast shutterspeed, 400 ISO.
Edited in LR5--radial filters on top portion of the wood frame and on the bug's eyes and reflection for clarity and exposure. I used graduated filters on the dark portions for noise reduction and saturation.
Used perspective aspect for the first time to create the white framing. So good to know something I never used. Played with distortion, but the effects were pretty ugly.
Overall shot looks best on a highly calibrated monitor. Something I struggle with when editing on my new monitor and then I see it on 365 with my old monitor. Oh well, busy day ahead.
Very nice. I appreciate the frustration with the monitors. I have the same editing on my Macbook Pro which is calibrated, and then view my upload on my work PC it's horrid . Ah well...
