My brother and niece arrived the day after my oldest left for Japan (and since that time, Japan has experienced a Typhoon and an Earthquake). Fortunately for my daughter, she has not been affected by either events, but my heart goes out to Japan.
The first day my brother and niece arrived, we went up to a great ropes, zipline, obstacle course called Treetop Quest in Buford, GA. It's very high in the trees. I liked this shot of one of the obstacles--and I thought it might work nicely for the weekly theme of trees. :)
I am miserably behind. Almost dropped project all-together, but I'm uploading all the photos I can since the 7th to catch up and not give up. I'm near a breaking point sadly.
I agree with Taffy. Love seeing your images. You have such an interesting way of seeing things. I really like the strong verticals in this image with the soft foreground focus on the horizontals. Love it!
Great composition and a terrific image. I do hope you don't give up I always enjoy your photos. I've got to the stage now where I upload if I want to and if I miss out I just leave it as a gap. I have completed two full years, now I just upload for enjoyment and a chance to exchange views with all the lovely folk on this site, in other words don't beat yourself up if your behind, just leave a gap!
I understand the feeling; I just uploaded two weeks worth (minus a few days- gotta back fill someday, too) last week and the another weeks worth today. Hang in there. Love the photo.
Love this image, gives such an impression of height.
