This week is always a rough one as it's the week my best friend's daughter died (four years ago). Whenever the week approaches, there are butterflies everywhere, and this year, again, butterflies came to visit--but just a bit differently--one the day before the anniversary and one the day after. None on the day of for me. This is the one the day after, at our "Neighbor Day" gathering. It flitted from food to ground to chair to hair to arm and so on, and I thought of our dear Correy and it made me glad for loving her.
Beautiful, Daryll. Even though it's sad day to remember. I like to think the butterflies come for your friend's daughter. The blue is especially beautiful. Fav.
Gorgeous! Went to a butterfly place Sunday and had the hardest time capturing these flittering blue beauties. Sorry for your loss, I am sure she is with you always!
So sorry about the sadness that it must bring people.....very sorry! I just saw one of these and shot a pic of it....I had never noticed one before. It was hanging in the ivy in the trees! I think it is a blue spotted purple. That is an odd name, but that is what it seems to be...
I was reminded of your post about this last year and how gut-wrenching it was to read. It's lovely to be reminded of her in so many ways, with butterflies speaking to so many happy traits. It must be so hard on her parents and their friends.
