Oh, that looks so fabulously appealing . . . that glistening point in the back rim of the pot is the perfect touch here to show off the BIG cast iron pot. And that food -- deliciously cast.
I love using cast iron to cook with! I have one of my grandmother's skillets that is at least 12" in diameter! Beautiful shot that looks as if we should have eaten at your place!
@grammyn That's so awesome. This pan is easily a 15in pan. I can only use it in the oven it's so big, but it's great to just put everything in. I hope to make a paella some day in it (have never made one). :)
@annied Yes! And one must use very good hand mitts when retrieving it from the oven! HOT. But cast iron is the best cooking source, and once it is cured, it can last forever! @grammyn can attest. :)
@jyokota I got the glistening point by putting my camera phone in the oven!! I always say when I need a shot, I stick my head in the oven (with or without food) or I take a photo of my bedside lamp. :)
