Yes, I have coveted all you 365ers' photos that have cardinals in the snow. And now I have one! Ok, the snow may be a bit more the size of dust, but dagnabit, I got one! Actually, I got too many, but I loved the focus on his face!
@timandelke the kids did the angel thing. I kept my eyes on the birds. The snow has stopped and the sun is out, so today I should be able to get some nice crisp images (and more cardinals--holy cow, you should see how many birds are in my backyard because of the feeders--it's unnerving).
@pamknowler seriously, I keep seeing these awesome cardinal-in-snow shots and I was just so excited to have a chance. Better chances today as sun is out and I can up that shutterspeed! woohoo!
@rvwalker It should be more red than orange, and apparently the red shows up better on the higher-calibrated monitors screens. I'm having a hard time really trying to see what my edits look like on my older screen (my husband gave me a new large monitor and graphics card so I could do editing side-by-side). I wanted a dual monitor system when I started writing online courses--but now it's great for photos!
