Two Mourning Doves at my feeder for the first time. They commenced to bickering, which I did not capture well, but this makes it look like an even match (except the one on the right is a bit more puffed up). :)
@cimes1 I can't tell the difference between them. Do you know the markings? I would guess the male on right, but only because he is a bit puffed up. :)
@kathysview This is the first day they have gone on the feeder (the cardinals, tits, and squirrels seem to stake claim usually). They ruled once they were on. I've always thought of them as ground feeders. They are so fun to watch as they blend in on the ground so well.
