Ahhh, how I missed taking birds in flight. Hawks everywhere today, and I could not be happier. Processed in b&w for effect. Cropped a good bit, but chuffed to get the eye, beak, and wonderful wing-span of this majestic hawk (red-tailed most likely).

We do have mostly red tails here! One day I watched what I thought were "hawks" diving into the lake to catch fish. Someone told me that made them Osprey. Not sure. This is a wonderful photo!
