I'm often reminded that very small threads bind humanity together--not the obvious ones or our identity labels. These threads are delicate, barely visible to the eye, and often bound to us as we swing in the winds of change and find ourselves.
I like to think that we are all born with a special and unique thread that only becomes visible when we are woven together with the threads of our neighbors--a world-wide tapestry of talent, love, anguish, passion, and endurance.
I have to remind myself that my thread is precious--that, too, of others. I only get glimpses of the tapestry, but when I do, I sit back in awe and examine the beauty.
@featherstone@grammyn@cimes1@steampowered Thanks. Admittedly, the darned wormy thing was moving so much there was not way to get it in focus with a macro clip, but the thread was fully in focus, so I opted to let it shine in the midst of what was a pretty poor photo. :/
I think I need this photo for my challenge for get-pushed this week -- to capture blur. Your bokeh is so effective here. As for your musings, I couldn't agree more. Do you know the Chinese story of The Red Thread?
