Today we're having a lovely snowstorm, what I've been waiting and hoping for. The snow started about 11:00 this morning and has continued all day and will continue into the night. They say we may get a foot of snow in Boston. It hasn't been wild and blizzardy, though, just a calm steady snowfall.
We stayed in and worked on un-decorating the house. At tea time I stopped for the day and got under my fleece blanket on the chaise longue by the tall bow front windows, with votive candles beside me on the table. There's hardly a nicer feeling than being cozy inside the house while watching the snow fall outside the windows and the world turn white.
I read for an hour or two about the shepherd's life in the Lake District, that interesting book by James Rebanks.
I've played around with the photo for fun. Tomorrow I'll go out in the snow and hope to get snowy landscape photos at the Pond.
A lovely day to stay in and think snow - some of the news pictures tonight from up your way look scary - that's quite some snow you've gotten. Like your lighting here.
