The invaders

This is a common climbing weed - convolvulus or greater bindweed. it has lovely heart-shaped leaves and delicate pinky/white flowers. Even though it is quite pretty, it is a pest!
At first glance at both title and photo, I thought this was a line of big stick-type insects on a branch! (opticians appointments well overdue :0) This is a wonderfully strong, confident photo. Excellent.

It's a beautiful pest thing! When will it bloom? You'll have to post a pic again once it blooms! Love the blue sky against this.

I thought this branch had little birds on it, then I enlarged the image and found the birds were in fact, gorgeous looking leaves. Lovely crisp image:-)

Bindweed is so pretty but it's al,ost impossible to get rid of. I love the bright blue sky, something that's been missing around here for so long! xx
