A hand-held shot of the clock tower in Queen Street, Auckland. Two camera friends and I had been to see the documentary film 'Salt of the Earth' - about a Brazilian photographer Sebastiao Salgado - a very powerful doco with some hard to view shots from Ethiopia and Rwanda. Sebastiao travelled the world and shot in b&w. He became despondent about how mankind was treating each other, returned to his family farm in Brazil and set about planting a forest on it. He is a really amazing photographer and environmentalist.
Yes, I booked to see it this Sunday. Looks like Auckland Festival is a week earlier, now with your review, I cannot wait! Lovely shot, I also like the side street with people walking on it.
