I'll get that by dide

I'll get that

Hockey rules have changed - this ball was being sent overhead to another player down the field. The opposition can try to intercept it and so sticks are often seen raised very high in the air. This is our youngest son, playing for Midlands, in a NHL buildup game.
Great action capture Dianne

Great shot, getting that ball. I'm amazed how much the rules have changed. They can hit it and swing their stick up over their shoulders now. A big change from when I used to play.

Great action shot. Hockey looks so dangerous nowadays - sticks weren't allowed above the shoulders back in my days at school.

As Nick sais we weren't allowed to raise our sticks above shoulder level but this a tion shot looks much more exciting than the game years ago. Great action shot

Great timing!

A lovely action shot. I agree with the others, above, about how things have changed. It used to be a foul if you raised your stick above your shoulders
