Spring flowers

Really a weed, but these narrow-leafed plantain flowers looked so nice against the fluffy spring clouds. We have had a lovely warm spring weekend, with no rain…
These seed head/flowers are what we used to loop around the stalk and 'shoot' at each other when we were kids.

A different perspective on weeds! I have started the autumn clean up and dug a lot of these out of the flowerbeds. They went straight into the wheelbarrow with no thought of photography.
