Trimmed! by dide

Trimmed!

This is what has been happening around here this week. The trees are now severely pruned and are below the power lines. We (our boys, that is) will now be able to complete the job without any hassles with power lines. We will be once again very exposed to the prevailing westerly winds, but it had to be done. The next planting will be smaller growing trees!
Looks like a lovely day where you are and just imagine what the regrowth is going to look like when it starts

Done. What a great job, the trees by them must be very happy to gain more daylight.

Shame you had to take them down but it looks as though they've done a good job. Interesting shots.

Great collage - really tells the story. The end result looks very neat.

They have done a very professional job, a good story board of the event

That took quite some equipment - major undertaking. Who would realize how quickly they would grow tall enough to interfere with the power lines. Like the way you showed the work done.
