All the local rural schools are holding their Calf Club days at the moment. The children get to rear a lamb, goat, calf or chicken and bring them to school for judging. It's a big day, and is often combined with a gala to raise funds for the school. Today a friend from Camera Club and I got asked to take individual photos of the children and their animal. (Not an easy task to get both animal and child facing the same direction and sitting still…..)
