New animals

Josh bought some new stock today - they were pretty keen to get their heads down and eat some grass. They will graze the area where maize was planted over the summer and there's now lots of lush ryegrass. At present, they are chewing off the front paddock with the one lonely animal from last year's bunch.
I am sure they will settle in well. Love the front & rear views.

@dide Thanks, we don't buy heifers, only steers so I didn't see them go through the sale. They look good.

It's great to see animals out in the paddocks. The cows here have just been out for a few weeks after their indoor stint through the winter

Great collage of farming shots. We call these Hereford/Friesian cross 'black baldies', how 'bout you?

@golftragic We call them white-faced herefords, even though they do not have a red body like a hereford!
