The Shortest Day

A beautiful sunrise this morning to welcome in the shortest day. I was hoping to also include tonight's sunset, but it didn't happen because it was way too cloudy. Happy winter solstice to everyone!

I'm always happy to see the winter solstice come and go, always feel we're on the up and up from here, even though I know it gets colder yet. Gorgeous sunset shot BTW, just gorgeous. Fav.
