I have saved this image until last (another one I didn't actually take though). This is an amazing young lady - Brooke, our daughter. She left NZ for her big OE and had a few tough things thrown at her along the way. Just before she came home, she completed the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrim Trail - on her own! Of course, she met up with lots of lovely people along the way and managed 800km in 30 days. Rather an incredible feat and we're pretty proud of her!
Stunning story and 800km is an amazingly long walk. My son did some 200km and he said it was really tough. Fav. for the beautiful capture, the composition and the scenery.
Wonderful. I know how proud you are of her! There's a wonderful video circulating on Facebook about J K Rowling that shows what a girl can do on her own! Your daughter is strong in many ways, good for her. And good for you, raising her to be this strong young woman
You must be incredibly proud of Brooke, she has packed so much into her time & to do so much as a solo traveler is very brave. I think all the young folk on their own really support each other, must have been slightly worrying for younall the same. We have to let them go!
