A diary shot today to show that the maize has all been harvested and the solar panel has been fitted onto the van roof. We should be able to keep the fridge in the van going when we are remote camping for more than three days in the same place. The fridge requires power or battery, and does not run on gas.
Well you will be really be able to go 'bush' now... though don't sit is the shade...

A fantastic feeling looking through the window to see all is safely gathered in! Even more so in the past when we used to haytime & we're so reliant on fine sunny weather!

Good to hear the maize harvest all went well for your son after all the hard work. Love to have a camper van, but can't really justify the expense.

@golftragic we are lucky as there's 3 camping spots at beaches within a 40 min radius. We often get away late Saturday and are home again before lunch on Sunday - a mini break! Plus our grown up kids use it too. Was great over Easter as family members were in tents and we used kitchen things from van and lived outside with them - the camping list was tiny as everything was already in the van.

Oops - a 30 min radius! @golftragic
