What a way to spend an afternoon! While in the South Island, we spent an afternoon at Poolburn Dam. This was @julzmaioro and my third attempt to visit this dam…It's a windy metal road to get here (although a good road) The first attempt to get here, we chickened out while in a rental car in the middle of winter…second time we got a puncture, so third time lucky. We are all laughing in this image, as I had the 100-400mm lens on the camera, set the timer and had to race uphill to get into the photo in time! Tomorrow I will share some of the lovely late afternoon reflections in the lake.
