We celebrated Chook's birthday last night by having a picnic tea at the beach with @julzmaioro and George. After seeing a stunning sunset (see Julz's site), we wandered back up the beach. These guys were having a lovely time sitting around a driftwood fire. We were also talking to a lady from Germany - this was her first time ever seeing the sun disappear 'into the sea'. She couldn't have chosen a better night to be at the west coast.
