Hockey washing

Our son, Chad, is moving home soon (for a couple of weeks), before he flies out to the Netherlands on a hockey contract. He is renting out his house, but the flatmates have taken the washing machine... so this was part of the washing on our line today - his favourite hockey number is 9 - I wonder if his Hattam club team will have a spare 9 for him?

Lovely story, fun image. Chad must be a very good player to get a pro contract. How wonderful for him and you too. Do hockey players wear numbers according to positions (like rugby) or just random (like AFL)?

@golftragic just random numbers. Yes he plays good hockey and has always wanted to play overseas. He got as far as future Black Sticks so we’re very proud of his efforts.
