Babysitting

Josh has some extra cattle to look after for a friend whose lifestyle block is underwater. Here you can see them with our Herefords in the rain, in a paddock that has some surface water as a result of all the recent rainfall. Tomorrow they will need to have some silage to help make the grass supply last longer. It is hard to believe that there has been so much rain and devastation in the middle of summer.
I hope the rain will stop soon and so sorry about those families whose houses are flooded.

This makes for a very green and lush feeling shot, but I do hope the rain will stop and the water recede soon. Are the visitors the black ones or the brown ones?
