As I was thinking still about the recent tragedy in Connecticut, I couldn't help but think of all those families who must somehow find a way to live through this upcoming holiday season, stripped of the joy they once knew. As we spend time with our families and friends, enjoying the laughter, the good food, and exchanging gifts as we express our love for each other, these families will struggle to find the strength to keep going. May we all be challenged to lift these families in our thoughts, and prayers that "He Will Make A Way Where There Seems To Be No Way" to get through this most difficult time. I came across this song a few years ago, and the story that is shared along with this song is heart wrenching, but yet it is so fitting for this situation. If you have a moment please listen to it, and the words, as you send your thoughts, or whisper a prayer for these families. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=he+will+find+a+way+where+there+is+no+way&mid=E848FEEB5C32F6A9E0DAE848FEEB5C32F6A9E0DA&view=detail&FORM=VIRE3
I continue to pray for these families daily Rick and this very thought comes to mind often. Gifts purchased for one who will not be there.... I cannot begin to imagine the pain they are feeling right now. Continuing to ask that His peace surround them and comfort them.
I love Don Moen and this song is an all-time fave! Thanks for this great reminder. BTW, Don is a MN boy. We were on a cruise with him once - he's a great guy.
@nana Thanks for the site reference, as I will check it out, and yes Don Moen is one of my favorite artists, I have several CDs and I listen to them over and over again as I drive.
