For the month of June, I've decided to challenge myself to a list of approximately 12-15 words in which I have to find a way to interpret and convey in a photograph that particular word. Words like "Inspiration", "Loneliness", etc. I've got a list I've started, but I want people to throw in some words. I'll pick the best 12-15 words and then I'm going to share it so that if anyone else wants to participate in the challenge they may.
Please only suggest words that allow for some wiggle room in interpretation. Something like "apple" doesn't allow for much wiggle room.. its pretty much going to be a photo of an apple or an adam's apple. Granted, there are many ways a person can shoot an apple, so I wouldn't rule a word like that out, but I prefer words that allow for a great deal of interpretation/creativity.

A long list! I've done a monthly photo scavenger hunt for the last 18 months (12 items per month) which has been great fun and these are just a few of the items we've had. Perhaps there will be something you like amongst that lot!
Some great ideas so far.... Once I've made the list I'll update this thread as closed... until then, feel free to offer suggestions. At that time I'll also post a thread with the final list and anyone that wants to join the challenge is more than welcome to.
Ok Jeff, this is a bit (a lot) unfair of me I know but my word for you is "sea". I will be seriously impressed with any result given your geographical issue with that word, so hopefully you'll be able to think of something outside the box.
@jonesp I might include that word just because it seems impossible, and I can't stand to be told I can't do something (even when its me saying it LOL)... just makes me want to prove I can.
@jonesp or I could go for "clever" Or drive to Lake Michigan.... you can't tell the differenence between that and the ocean (I've seen the ocean... it was a disappointment because I expected it to be way more grand than Lake Michigan and it wasn't. LOL)
@jsw0109
Jeff based on the nature of an arbitrary challenge, I reckon you need to put all the ones in a hat and pick them out, don't let yourself select them based on ideas.
Well if you had been really clever Jeff, you would have said nothing, gone to Lake Michigan, got the photo, completed the challenge and I'd be none the wiser, only immensely impressed that you went all the way to the 'sea'.
I'm gonna need to see something unique to the sea now.. like a lighthouse :-)
***THIS THREAD IS *CLOSED*** There are a ton of suggestions so whether I sift through them and pick 12-15 or select them randomly by writing them on strips of paper and pulling them out of a hat, its going to be time consuming, so I'm not taking any more suggestions. Thank you to everyone that took the time to visit this thread and make suggestions!!! Once I have the list, I will post a new thread for the June word challenge.
@cmc1200 I did eliminate some of the suggestions (there were over 150) due to some words either being a synonym of another or the word being too limiting, etc, then listed the rest at random.org and let it put the list in random order... took the first 15, and added a bonus word. Its not the list I would have hand picked, although there are some good words.... some might prove to be very challenging. Paul's "Sea" was picked by random.org (it was actually #1 on random's list).
