Being on 365 has allowed me to experience far too many instances of "my first time"! Here are the most memorable ones so far.
My first jumping spider shot! I remember this experience vividly, as if it'd happened only yesterday.
My first snake shot! (It's a very beautiful Oriental Whip Snake. And I would love to see another one again.)
And my first dragonfly shot! (I had wanted a dragonfly shot for so long.)
And right now, I'm having my first "Jumping Spiders Week" because I'll be posting only shots of cute jumping spiders all week! I blame 365 for my addiction to these cute little guys! XD
Love these! 365 was the first time I ever picked up a frog and put it on an orange. From the look on his face, I suspect it was the first time for him too.....
First fast motion capture w/ bokeh
First selfie, and this was so much harder than I ever thought it would be.
First homeless person. Also very hard because I felt like I was being cruel or intrusive.
First HDR (IN LOVE WITH HDR)
First Low-Key, hard to achieve as well. I could go on and and on, as there has ben so many firsts for me, but these are some of the ones I felt accomplishment and growth from. THIS IS A GREAT THREAD!
first droste effect
first impossible pic

first anaglyph image (dig out those old 3d specs ;))

Well everything's a first for me on here because when I started I didn't know anything. But here's a few highlights from my 6 months on here:
First bokeh (p&s camera, sooc cos didn't know anything bout processing)
First shot using fast shutter speed
First manual focus (see we are pretty basic!)
First slow shutter speed shot
and I won't bore you with any more!
My first attempt at trying a different point of view for capturing a subject and first time I found myself on my back on the street trying to achieve it!
@filsie65 I STILL have not found a frog to put on a fruit! Darn! I went out walking on morning at 4:30 Am too...to look for one. My husband says he sees one up here at the lake every morning on the sidewalk, etc.. Nada! I think it is too dry here.... I love your frog's face! He looks shocked.
