Just wondering

January 22nd, 2013
Last year I had a lot of fun taking pictures for this project, but I do not think I could a take photo a day for another year,So I was just wondering if it is ok to add a picture very now and then on here for some feed back? This is something I have missed and I am trying to improve my bird photography whicjh is going slowly.

Martin, there are no rules, except, I think, that you have to post your own, original work. There are others who only post occasionally.Best of luck!

@esox Of course. This project is supposed to be fun. When I finished my 365 at the end 2010, I didn't pickup a camera for a month - just so I could get the fun back again.

I think the general mantra is that its your project so you can do with it what you will.

Of course that's okay! As Peter says, there are no rules... :) Enjoy!!!

@esox
Good Luck with the bird photography, that's mainly what I shoot.

As others have stated, this is your project so when and how you post is totally up to you! Good luck with the bird photography.

@esox that's what I do! Couldn't do another year with one a day. I am actually enjoying myself a little more. Have fun!!

I have to agree you have to get some fun out of your project as I do. It can't become a chore, i.e "Oh no what on earth shall I take a Photo of today." I enjoy the challenge of taking photos everyday but to ease the workload I am moving to only uploading my photos around 3 to 4 times a week. Use The Word Day lists which give you a subject to photo each day, This has really helped me as it takes me out of my comfort zone and makes me work harder . Enjoy it thats the main thing .

Not only is it OK, but I highly recommend it. I did a full 365 on this site in 2011, then took a break for most of 2012 (uploading just a handful of photos that whole year), and now I'm back for a full 2013. I think that if I'd have tried to go straight into 2012, without taking a break, I'd have burned out completely and wouldn't be here now.

Lets see some bird pics Martin.

Of course, Martin! I did a complete year for Fall 2010 - Fall 2011. Then, since this site is so addicting, I added photos from time to time that I wanted to share. I finally decided last week to go Ace, after I got tired of seeing 500 something photos in my "365 Project." The extra albums are great for my overly-organized brain. ;)

I also love bird shots! So, let's see them. Following you now.

I agree on all of the above. I was wondering the same thing a while back. Lots of "life" happened to me for the last few months and there is NO way I have the time or energy to keep up. Much less keep up with commenting etc. Do what you can!
