I'm not sure if this is the case with you, but I feel like one crucial element of a great photograph is its ability to tell a story. To draw us into what is going on at that particular moment of capture. It's something that I need to work on...
It will be great if you can share with all of us one capture (preferably from your FAV list) that best accomplishes that.
For those of you who are new to this 365 site, you can post a capture by copying and pasting the code from the "Share" box (right below "Tags").
First I didn't realize I have THREE pages of favorites. Second, I didn't realize it would be so hard to choose ONE favorite. But I kept going back to this one...while I LOVE the photo's of children & people..this picture brought to mind the beginning of an old fairytale type story.. It even brings to mind, "Four and twenty black birds baked in a pie.." then it takes a turn and an Albert Hitchcock reel starts playing in my head... It takes on several "story" in my head.
I find it very interesting that most of the pictures posted here thus far involve children. Not to be outdone, here's another one from my fav list by @paulcleveland
one of my favs from Julia Richards (@_juliarichards) - theres a mystery behind this photo that I'm just so attracted to, makes me ask alot of questions about the two subjects. It leaves alot of room for interpretation regarding a story line. love her use of blur here, just a great photo in general - very interesting :)
I find it powerful and think it definitely tells a story
And this one by @swooshbourne because I just can't choose one. I mean, look at those eyes. Sorry.
