This is an opportunity to rave about just ONE picture from another 365er from among those that you favved OVER THE PREVIOUS WEEK... it can be really hard to just choose one. It certainly gets you to think even more deeply about what you love in a photograph but do try and say why too. Try and add the Photographer's link - it will be nice for them to know they are appreciated.
I have to say, it is A REAL JOY to review the images I have favved over the week - hope you enjoy doing the same. It is also wonderful to get to see what other 365ers love.
I hope this will encourage those who say 'fantastic', 'brilliant', 'superb' shot etc, will be encouraged to back that up with a 'FAV'. It is so encouraging for the recipient.
To add a pic to this thread go to the 'share' box of the photo you want to display as your 'fav fav' and copy and paste it here with their link and any comments.
Mike Fitzgeralds @twofunlabs great blue heron family is stupendously good, it is a beautiful composition, subject, lighting, detail and whispyness v neat. The protective expressions of the parents are also superb. I favved this in the last week but realised it is one day out of the range of this thread. Forgive me for making an exception by including it but I think it is that deserving – one of the best pics I have seen on 365. It missed last week’s thread because I didn’t fav it until this week, so this is mine:
my fav fav this week is this one by my good online buddy @coolgirlsar , the woman who made me want to learn more about photography in the first place :)
I don't think I could have clicked the FAV button fast enough when @wrighty posted her Bathtime for the Elephants photo. The blue pops and the entire photo is amazing, imho.
Another from @angievega http://365project.org/angievega/just-outside-my/2011-04-14 and from @girlie http://365project.org/girlie/365-2/2011-04-20 are awesome..
@shadesofgrey Wow! Thankyou so much, I really appreciate the compliment. I put a lot of time into the processing of this particular shot to achieve the right feeling to match the subject and the situation, its really nice to have someone like it enough to post it here!
@nodecaff@pamfromcalgary wow, thank you both so much for posting this as your Fav Fav! I'm super flattered that this shot has been given so much attention! :o)
i have just discovered the album of a young man who started in march on this website. and he has clever ideas and takes excellent photographs and he mostly captions it with literary quotes or excerpts from songs or poems. but i am surprised that he has only 17 followers. please 365ers, check him out. this is his photo that i faved this week and i made a rough translation of the accompanying quote:
there are children who grew up in their mothers' embrace
there are children who grew up underneath the blazing sun
there are those who grew up in stark poverty
or raised and shaped by the harsh streets.
my comment: "perfectly captured! the expression on the child's face, the thought expressed by his beautiful eyes. and you showed him naked but not exposed."
(apologies for the long diatribe but here's the photograph)
Mine is a shot I found while looking through this weeks theme entries- found this awesome photo and someone new to follow: Rebekah Schlegel @rebekahschlegel
This picture by @shadowdancer of birthday girl Luna! I really like the color of it and how Luna fills up almost the whole picture. Happy birthday, sweet Luna!
