So, what's your favourite photo over the past week, between 23 and 29 April?
You can post your favourite photo by copying and pasting the code from the 'Share' box that's in your photo page, together with info on when it was taken. Part of the challenge is only selecting ONE picture, so no cheating!
i loved how much area and detail i was able to capture with my little p&s. Oakland Hills is in the foreground followed by Oakland. The little island is Treasure Island (for real) San Francisco is on the left and The GG Bridge is on the right
Maybe not my most artistic for the week - but definitely my fav. This would have been an impossible shot to even try to set up for a sixteen month old. I'm still laughing every time I see it.
We were visiting my sister-in-law for Easter and our two familes wandered down to a near-by lake to feed to fish. With the late afternoon sun, the shadows and lines created on this balcony were an absolute gift.
It is not the one that others loved this week and not the best aesthetically but I feel it has more meanings and feelings to me. He was on the way and I did not got the picture I planned to take, but it was funny and has in it elements that are important for me in photography – people and reflections, stories.
This one from the 26th. it's not the best of the week by any means, but I had absolutely no inspiration that day, so am more than happy with the finished result!
I have others which will probably be viewed and commented on more but this one will act as a reminder of a great days with friends so this is my pick of hte week
Makes me wonder.
If something so seemingly insignificant,
so small,
as a spider.
Can create a web,
of a masterpiece,
that serves such purpose.
Then why not I?
If the discouraged part of my heart,
would take heed,
and be encouraged by this thought.
To know the potential held within.
The opportunity to begin again.
For its possibilities,
of a promise it keeps.
The assurance of an ability,
to spin,
my own,
frail,
but true,
masterpiece.
I met one of the homeless guys living in this building today,he said his friend had died that week from dehydration.I was sad and moved by this and realised that maybe his family may never know or find out which seemed tragic.

it's certainly not my BEST shot - but it's my favourite from the point of view of seeing new life flourish!

also to my surprise, it had made it on the PP, briefly, but long enough for me to notice :D

This was my favourite this week - definitely not what I'd planned but somebody wouldn't stop playing with the camera strap...
One of my Birthday flowers :)
Sheer sentiment from a proud granny.
Taken in the evening on 27th April whilst walking along our local canal towpath
Taken early evening, given how cold the spring has been, was surprised to see the bees pollinating the Blue Bells.
