For this stupendously momentous occasion, I would like to extend all forms of gratitude to everyone here on the site who has ever paid my photos a visit and taken the time to view and comment them. :) I wouldn't have survived this long if it wasn't for you. :) For serious!
It's a bit of a mind-boggle when you think back to when you first started and how different things were.
I know that there are many 365ers whom I loved to follow dearly who aren't on the site any more, or who don't update nearly as often as they used to. *sadface*
And I know that, 500 days ago, I was in a very, very different headspace to where I am now. Since then I've met some great people - even started dating one :P (@mednez ), travelled to many places near and far, expanded my photography considerably, learnt lots and lots, done a lot of thinking and rethinking of who I want to be and where I want my life to go. Granted, I'm a fair slice more confused about the future now than I was then, but also *far* more excited at the possibilities. :)
I think - no, I know - that I am in a much better place than I was on May 1st, 2010. :)
tl;dr: You guys are all awesome, I made it to my 500th photo today, and marshmallows are delicious!
Massive congrats on reaching 500! You're pictures are always top quality even when you've had no time available. I didn't realise you met Alex through 365. Wow that's pretty cool. And now you can aim to reach 1000...
Congratulations Teresa! I was just thinking earlier today about how 365 has made people from all over the world meet up and become friends not only online but also in real life. That is so great. I wonder if Ross realizes how much he's changed some peoples lives :)
@pocketmouse That is awesome and congratulations on such an amazing accomplishment. I'm still woking through the first 365, so I can't imagine 500, but I'm enjoying it so much and I love how it keeps me thinking and creating or looking at things creatively, so I don't think I'll be stopping when I do hit the magic number. And you are absolutely right- the people here are wonderful!!! Once again- BRAVO- and best wishes on the next 500!
